This is an exciting brand new category of tea. Some would say it tastes in between a green and white tea. The best temperature is around 175F for 2-3 minutes. Another bonus you can re brew purple tea up to three times. Brew a bit longer for each additional brew. Purple tea is a new variety which is grown organically in Kenya. It has all of the health benefits of green tea with less caffeine. It naturally grows purple because the
plant contains anthocyanin, the same antioxidant found in other purple plants like blueberries.
